Pan Am Railways in Northern New England 2009

In March of 2006 Guilford Rail System, the operator of what is left of the Boston and Maine and Maine Central lines in northern New England, changed its name to Pan Am Railways. This program shows the trains running during the summer of 2009 on Pan Am’s main line into northern New England. It shows what has become of the Maine Central and Boston and Maine railroads that were the bastions of railroading in northern New England and includes the route of Amtrak’s recently expanded Downeaster in New Hampshire and southern Maine. Many boxcars and nine locomotives have been repainted into two versions of Pan Am Railways blue paint scheme. Many of these boxcars and a couple of the locomotives are shown in this program along with Pan Am’s eclectic mix of older, un-rebuilt motive power that draws fans from far and wide. “Pan Am Railways in Northern New England 2009” is a two disk set and is one hour and fifty-four minutes in length. It sells for $34.95 plus $5.00 for S&H.  Thie DVD has the option of being watched with or without narration.

Guilford Rail System in Northern New England 2004 DVD

This video shows the trains and operations on Guilford Rail System in the states of Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont during the summer of 2004.  It shows what has become of the Maine Central and B&M railroads that were the bastions of railroading in northern New England.  Amtrak's Downeaster has finally come to Maine and Guilford's eclectic second hand roster still soldiers on in northern New England. 73 minutes.  The DVD on this program has the option of being watched with or without narration.

This video covers the trains and operations on all of the regional railroads and some shortlines in Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine in April of 2000.  It shows what has become of the B&M, Maine Central, Central Vermont, Bangor and Aroostook, and Grand Trunk and is a sequel to our highly acclaimed Trains of Northern New England 1997.  There are many Alco's running around northern New England, former Amtrak F40PH's on freight trains, and we even caught a SD90MAC on the Vermont Railway.  123 minutes.  2 DVD-R, 1 tape set

This video shows what became of the B&M, MEC, CV, Rutland, and much more. All of the larger railroads in VT, NH, and ME - the New England Central, Guilford's Springfield Terminal which operates the former MEC and B&M, Iron Road's Bangor and Aroostook and Canadian American, Vermont Railway, St. Lawrence & Atlantic, and Green Mountain are covered in this epic video, including 24 hrs. at several points, in early 1997, when there was up to 30 inches of snow on the ground. 160 minutes.
