Hot Times on the Overland Route DVDThis video shows over 24 hours of awesome action in October of 2003 around the multi-tracked, great rail junction at Granger, Wyoming, where UP's line to Portland and Seattle breaks off of the original Overland Route to Ogden. Many railfans are familiar with the tiny town of Granger on UP's incredibly busy central corridor which is bisected by long freight trains seventy or more times a day on peak days of the week. With the addition of trains off of the former Rio Grande main through Colorado, the tonnage and train count on UP's Overland Route across Wyoming is at its highest level ever. Canadian National's Saskatchewan Main DVDThis video shows 24 hours of fascinating action in October of 2003 west of Melville, Saskatchewan on CN's superbly engineered Watrous Sub. Two years ago CN began lengthening some of the sidings on this line and today CN runs some of the longest freight trains on this continent. This track is part of CN's transcontinental main line that is traversed by an increasing number of containers and tonnage and by CN's new "Need for Speed" trains. Canadian Pacific's Saskatchewan Main DVDCanadian Pacific's main line west of Moose Jaw through Saskatchewan is busier today than anytime since World War II and carries the most tonnage in its long history. Just east of Moose Jaw CP's rapidly growing business from Chicago via the former Soo Line joins the transcontinental main line. Pushed by improvements in productivity made by rival Canadian National, Canadian Pacific has fought back by adding hundreds of new alternating current diesels, new higher capacity cars, and longer trains with distributed power. All of this is showcased on CP's main line across the Saskatchewan prairie. This line handles all of CP's transcontinental traffic between eastern and western Canada and the rapidly growing transcontinental business to and from the States. This DVD shows over twenty-four hours of action on CP's Saskatchewan Main between Moose Jaw and Swift Current in October of 2003. Canadian Pacific's Saskatchewan Main is two hours and three minutes in length.

24 Hours at Greenwich - New Crossroads of CSX DVDGreenwich, twelve miles east of Willard in northern Ohio, is where CSX's line to Chicago, the former B&O main, crosses the former Conrail Indianapolis Line that is now owned by CSX. Since the Conrail split on June first of 1999, a flood of trains with many led by pooled power from Western railroads or by leased power pour onto or off of the Indianapolis Line around the new two track wye that connects the two lines. The number of trains through Greenwich has doubled and this small town southwest of Cleveland is the New crossroads of CSX. Wheeling and Lake Erie trains also run through Greenwich. Hot Times on the Golden State Route DVDThe former Rock Island and Southern Pacific, now Union Pacific Golden State Route between Kansas City and El Paso has seen its share of ups and downs in the past thirty years. Today the Golden State Route has again been rebuilt and handles the most tonnage in its history including the new sixty-three hour, coast to coast "bullet trains" carrying United Parcel Service packages.
